Komatsu Lubricant Selector
Online lubricant recommendation tool for Komatsu equipment
We are pleased to have worked with the Edelman agency to create this online lubricant selection application for the construction equipment manufacturer, Komatsu. Their equipment and vehicles are seen within mining, construction or utilities environments. The user is able to select vehicles and equipment, fly down to an xray view, see their internal components and then find recommended lubricant products for each component.

We animated the equipment from full external views on each landscape, flying down to individual x-ray views to show the internal components. We also built and animated each of these components in detail. This involved gaining a full technical knowledge of how these components work to be able to show how and where the lubricants are used.
We also authored the whole interactive application, including the foreign language versions, which can be switched at any point through the application.
